OK, I'm not sure when this assignment is due, but I started thinking about it the other week and decided I should start working on it soon before it gets too late. Anyhow, today I went and bought all the stuff that I need including:
* 3 different ice cube trays - two of them were square shaped; one had curved edges at the bottom the other one had perpendicular edges i.e. not curved. The last one was a rectangular long shaped ice cube tray - very long but at the bottom it curves like a circle.
* Thermometer so I can measure the water that I'm using for my assignment.
* Measuring Cups - instead of a little measuring cup with 1mL intervals, I bought one of those cooking sets that are measured in spoons BUT it also has how many mL's the cup can hold.
Also I will need to make several adjustments to my Method as my assignment is to figure out if the shape of the ice cube will affect the melting rate NOT if the temperature will. In my next post I will write out my final Method all polished and ready to go !
