Freezing the Water

I have just washed the ice cube trays that I'm going to use so that there is not dirt or foreign material inside the trays.
Also, I have measured and found out that each of the trays easily holds 7.5mL of water each. That is one variable that is being controlled.
The temperature of the water was not able to be found as the thermometer did not work.
The weather today is cloudy and medium rain. I will put the ice cube trays into the freezer after I measure 7.5mL into each compartment and then after a few hours I will take it out.
